Shares are expected to open flat after a strong performance yesterday, as Wall Street ended mixed overnight, with auto stocks in focus after US car sales for September generally disappointed the market, dealers said. At 8.13 am, brokerage Lang & Schwarz indicated the DAX 30 index would open at about 5,084, up some 2 points from yesterday's close at 5,082.07.
